As God is an all-righteous Spirit, therefore His laws and commandments are the same as He Himself, for His righteousness is expressed in them. It is because of this that the Lord says: "If a man love Me, he will keep My words" (My commandments). "He that loveth Me not keepeth not My sayings. If ye love Me, keep My commandments."
